DINOSAR at the GEO Global Forum in Roma
From 5 to 9 May 2025, DINOSAR took part in the GEO Global Forum in Rome, Italy.
The inaugural GEO Global Forum in 2025 was a premier global event to harness Earth Intelligence to empower informed and ambitious actions to ensure food security, restore ecosystems, prevent disasters, and confront the triple planetary crisis, transforming the Sustainable Development Goals into an achievable reality. Read the programme here.
Our partner Mark Noort from HCP International presented a DINOSAR poster in the European Commission booth. This was an opportunity to present the project, its objectives and expected results to the GEO community. Mark also attended various interesting sessions such as: Open data and open knowledge: national GEOs, in situ data and GEO work programme activities, Earth intelligence for food, water and ecosystem resilience and Safety, security and resilience of citizens and societies.

As a reminder, the GEO group brings together governments, universities, organisations, civil society and the private sector to create integrated Earth intelligence solutions for informed decision-making. We wrote an article about DINOSAR’s involvement in the GEO group, read it here.
