He is an experienced remote sensing specialist with a focus for many years on monitoring agriculture using optical and radar data. He knows what it is like to develop business and products.  His (former) colleagues appreciate him because he sees through complex tasks and knows how to make them manageable.  Customers trust him because he includes them in development, is transparent in what is possible (and not possible). His international experience ensures that he can work out with different people and parties in a dynamic environment. He will lead the WP1- User requirements and use case development and WP4 Operationalisation of prototype algorithm. He will also play a major role in technical work packages, especially WP3.
