He has a PhD in synthetic aperture radar and more than 10 years of experience in the remote sensing sector and 2 years as a software developer with a focus on agile and clean coding principles. His main strengths are remote sensing SAR data processing and analysis. Since 2021 Karlis works for eLEAF focusing on automating and standardizing the acquisition and pre-processing of remotely sensed data from various sources.
