DINOSAR at the 17th International Conference on Precision Agriculture and 11th Brazilian Congress on Precision and Digital Agriculture

Posted on April 14, 2026

The DINOSAR project will be presented at the upcoming 17th International Conference on Precision Agriculture (ICPA) and the 11th Brazilian Congress on Precision and Digital Agriculture (ConBAP), a major international event dedicated to advances in digital and data-driven farming.

Taking place from 13–16 July 2026 in Porto Alegre, Brazil, the joint conference will bring together researchers, industry experts, and practitioners to discuss innovations in precision agriculture, including remote sensing, artificial intelligence, and sustainable farming systems.

A contribution on satellite data integration for biomass estimation

As part of the conference program, DINOSAR partner, Carlos Mosquera from AgroAp, will present this contribution with an oral presentation:

“Integration of Optical and Radar Satellite Imagery for Biomass Estimation in Sugarcane: The DINOSAR Project and Its Application in Precision Agriculture.”

This work highlights how combining optical and radar satellite data can improve biomass estimation in sugarcane crops, an important step toward more accurate monitoring and decision-making in precision agriculture.

An opportunity to engage with the Brazilian market

Participation in ICPA and ConBAP 2026 also represents a valuable opportunity for DINOSAR to strengthen its international visibility and engage with the Brazilian agricultural market, one of the largest and most dynamic in the world, particularly in sugarcane production.

By presenting its results in this context, DINOSAR can connect with local stakeholders, explore potential collaborations, and demonstrate the relevance of its solutions for large-scale agricultural systems. This exposure is a key step toward facilitating the adoption of satellite-based technologies in regions where precision agriculture has strong growth potential.
